Reasons
to Travel to Iran: Art and Music
Iran has long been famous not only for its textiles but also for its other
handicrafts and art. And when I say long, I mean for millennia, not
merely hundreds of years. At many different times in history, Persian
artisans were employed or enslaved by rulers wishing to show their
glories. At different times in history, Persian artisans worked within the
confines of different cultural restrictions. Their ingenuity and
creativity is the legacy they leave, and boasting is not necessary! The
works speak for themselves.
