rugs, there are two main kinds of washes. "Bright wash"
means that the rug has white in it and the colors are cooler,
blue based shades. "Walnut wash" means that the rug has
been washed with a stain made from walnut shells. The
stain makes all the whites look cream and slightly mutes the
colors to give it more of an antique look and a warmer glow of
yellowed tones. Both washes are beautiful, it just
depends on your decor and personal taste.
